Kindergarten Program

Like the Pre-Kindergarten program, the Kindergarten program uses a multi-sensory approach to learning that strives to tap into the multiple intelligences presented by this enthusiastic age group.  Meeting for four and one-half hours five days per week (7:55 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.), children receive instruction in early literacy skills (reading, language arts) and math readiness skills.  In addition, curriculum involves the academic areas of science, social studies, and religious instruction, and classes in computer, library, music, art, and physical education. An optional Kindergarten Enrichment program is offered to the students five afternoons per week from 12:30 to 2:15 P.M. This program expands upon the reading and math curriculum using hands-on activities, computer software, and various other creative methods of instruction.
