Uniforms and Dress Code
SCHOOL UNIFORMS
The school uniform is purchased at COED Uniform Company (201-796-4220).
Uniform shoes are available at COED or at Ped-Agree Shoes (201-891-5919).
Gym sweatshirts and sweatpants are ordered from COED.
Gym T-Shirts ($6.00) and gym shorts ($13.00) are purchased at the school office.

GIRLS—Winter Uniform Requirements (second week October ‘til April 30)
• Girls in grades K-5 may wear a plaid jumper or a plaid skort
• Girls in Grades 6-8 wear a plaid kilt
• All girls wear either a long sleeve or short sleeve white or navy banded bottom polo shirt with the SES logo. A navy crew neck sweater, v-neck vest or cardigan with the school logo may be worn at any time. A white blouse or turtleneck may also be worn under the sweater, vest or jumper, but not alone with the skort or kilt.
• The uniform shoe is a navy blue oxford or navy blue Velcro Mary Jane style.
• Navy blue knee socks or navy tights are required.
GIRLS—Summer Uniform Requirements (Mandatory) (Sept. 8 through Oct. 8)- (May 1 ‘til the end of June)
• Short sleeve SES polo (navy or white)—Grades K-8
• Khaki skort—Grades K-5
• Khaki kilt skirt—Grades 6-8
• White sneakers with low white socks—Grades K-8
GIRLS—General
• Fad hairstyles, hair pieces and unnatural hair coloring such as dying and bleaching are not permitted.
• Dangling or large hoop earrings are not allowed.
• Excessive jewelry, including bangle bracelets, is not allowed.
• Make-up and/or nail polish are not allowed.
• Skirts may not be rolled.
• Skirt hems may not be shorter than 3” above the kneecap.
• No handbags are permitted.
BOYS—Winter Uniform Requirements (second week of October 'til April 30th)
• Boys in Grades K-8 wear khaki uniform pants with a short or long sleeve polo shirt with the SES logo.
• A brown belt must be worn at all times.
• A navy crew neck sweater or v-neck vest with the SES logo can be worn at any time. A plain white button down shirt or turtle neck may be worn under the sweater or vest but not alone.
• Uniform shoes are brown leather or nubuck oxford style.
• Dress socks in either khaki or navy are required.
BOYS—Summer Uniform Requirements (Mandatory) (Sept, 8 through Oct.8)-(May 1 'til the end of June)
• Boys in Grades K-8 may wear khaki uniform shorts with a short sleeve white or navy polo shirt with SES logo.
• A khaki uniform belt must be worn with the shorts.
• The summer uniform shoe is a plain black sneaker and may only be worn with shorts.
• The summer uniform sock is a plain white or black short sock.
BOYS—General
• Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
• Hair length must be above the eyebrows, no longer than mid-ear and above the shirt collar.
• No fad hairstyles, or unnatural hair colors are allowed.
• No earrings are allowed.
